“Sólo se expone la política mostrando los conflictos, las paradojas, los choques recíprocos que tejen toda la historia” decía Didi-Huberman. Que tejen, en realidad, todo el pasado, ése que apenas se mira cuando se construye la Historia. Así nos lo han contado, luego así son las cosas. Pero la Historia puede, también, ser un campo de batalla. La Historia sin Pasado reflexiona sobre las imágenes y contra-representaciones de la historia (y) del arte en relación con los discursos nacionales/coloniales de España y América Latina.

“Politics is only exposed as a means of conflict, paradoxes, reciprocal impacts which knit the complete history”, as Didi-Huberman mentioned, knitting, by the way, the whole past, that one that is almost unseen when building History. That´s the way we were told, so, that is the way things are. Nevertheless, History can also be a battlefield. History With No Past is concerned about images and counter-representations of the History (and) of Art in relation to the national/colonial discourse of Spain and Latin America.
